Cancer roadshows 2015

We are running a series of half day roadshows throughout England in collaboration with the NHS Strategic Clinical Networks.

The aim of the roadshows is to ensure that commissioners, clinicians and data managers are fully aware of the range of cancer data being collected, the ways in which these data are fed back, and the consequent opportunities for improving cancer outcomes.

Each roadshow includes a series of presentations covering:

• The cancer landscape - the national context
• What cancer data are collected and by whom
• The various tools and data available for analysis
• The way in which clinicians and commissioners are using data
• The local area context - issues and challenges

This is followed by an interactive ‘café’ style session with opportunities for delegates to ask questions and watch demonstrations of some of the tools and datasets, as well as sign up to access the data.
